Terminal Testing

FIME has been testing terminals since 1995, when EMVCo decided to assess the quality of terminal hardware through independent laboratories. As developing terminals deals with both hardware and software, FIME expertise in terminal testing quickly reached the application running in the terminal.

Today, FIME will test terminals developed for different markets: Banking, identity, mass transit, health... Terminal testing starts with the hardware, to make sure that it is compliant with ISO standards or other specifications and requirements, such as EMV Level 1, PayPass™ or ICAO requirements. FIME may test terminals regarding mechanical, electrical, RF and protocol behaviors.
